Marie-Ange uses Kinesiology
Kinesiology is a wonderful tool which uses muscle monitoring to identify imbalances in the body on a structural, chemical, emotional and spiritual level. Marie-Ange uses the 5 element system (acupuncture theory) and Professional Kinesiology Practice (PKP) for specific issues providing a detailed and individual approach.
Kinesiology assesses energy and body function within muscles and meridians, which relate to organs and tissue. A range of gentle yet powerful healing techniques are used to improve health, wellbeing and vitality. Kinesiology (Kin-easy-ology) comes from the Latin. Kines meaning muscle movement. Kinesiology activates the body’s innate healing energy.
How Does It Work?
As a Kinesiologist, there is an appreciation that the body has an innate healing energy and is at all times doing its best to care for itself, but that at times the body requires help into a better position to achieve this care. Kinesiology also recognises that there are flows of energy within the body that relate to the muscles, tissues and organs that go to make the whole body a living, feeling being.
Kinesiology taps into energies that many other modalities do not reach. Kinesiology looks beyond the symptoms. Kinesiology does not treat named diseases. Nor does it diagnose them. Kinesiology is concerned with imbalances in the body's energy. In this respect, Kinesiology has close links with the acupuncture concept of energy flow.
What is Muscle Testing?
Kinesiology techniques are applied to identify & balance energy blockages within the body. The answer is somewhere within you. Muscle monitoring or the muscle bio- feedback system, is a natural feedback system which receives information via nerve pathways, the meridian system of the body and nervous system. Kinesiology bypasses conscious brain accesses information stored in the subconscious, the body or on other levels. This information is stored rather like a filing cabinet or personal computer stores data.
Kinesiology is a non-invasive energetic healing science, using precision muscle feedback and body awareness that can help you to reduce stress and pain, improve performance. Energy balancing supports a person in achieving any goal of their choice such as in sport, relationships, learning or coping with life, dealing with blocks, confusion and feeling stuck. It can help deal with ailments. It can be vial in identifying food sensitivities.
Kinesiology supports you to take charge of your relationship with the past, your present challenges and the future. The goal of a ' Kinesiology balance' is to identify the bottom-line cause of an imbalance or malfunction and support the body to resolve it. Memories, an "attitude", behaviour, dietary issues or a forgotten issue may present themselves. As the neural substrate stores information about physical, emotional and mental states and stress within the body, a weak muscle test can be an indication that stress is recorded as having a negative effect somewhere in the system.
Initial research began in the 1960’s when Dr. George Goodheart DC, discovered that muscle testing could be used to gather information from the body. This system was called ‘Applied Kinesiology’. Kinesiology, which is a combination of ancient acupressure, Chinese acupuncture and western muscle monitoring, balances the body on many levels. Kinesiology was found to restore balance and health to neurological and physiological function. Through this modality, profound changes may be experienced emotionally, mentally and physically, thereby increasing a person’s health and wellbeing. When our system is functioning well, we feel well.
Blocks or stresses are thought to prevent smooth energetic transmission, thus affecting functioning of our bio-systems, resulting in changes in energy. These can include allergies, depression, postural problems, poor performance levels, learning and relationship difficulties, digestive and nervous disorders - whatever the presenting problem or symptoms, on some level the body is saying that it is malfunctioning
